This is the Interblag for Leaguist, the best way to pick the winners of your favourite league and brag about it to your friends! 

At the moment we’re in a ‘beta’ phase, so the Super 14 and the ANZ Netball Championship are the only leagues you can pick the winners for. The plan is we’ll have other leagues and sporting events like Euro 2008, Air New Zealand Cup, Heartland Championship and the A-League.

However, Leaguist isn’t a gambling site. When we developed Leaguist.com, we wanted to bring the fun back into choosing sides: the fulfillment of getting it right, while your friends got it wrong. You know, bragging rights. The site was developed and is maintained in New Zealand, and it’s one of the first New Zealand websites to implement OpenID.

Leaguist is a private project by Pete McVicar, a web designer/developer with some wonderful help from James Love. It is in no way assoicated with any leagues, sporting bodies or any other household names.
